Privacy policy

TX Emissions Guide is a guide you can use without telling us who you are. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms and no comments. The site runs no advertising and no analytics today. This page explains the little that is collected, and why.

What we collect

• Nothing you enter in the tools. The county checker, the fee calculator and the station finder run in your browser; what you choose or type is not sent to us.
• Email you send us. If you write to contact@texasemissionstesting.com, we keep your message and address to reply and to act on it, such as a correction. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or share your address.
• Hosting logs. The site is hosted by Vercel, which records standard request data (such as IP address, browser type, page requested and time) to deliver and secure the site. We do not use them to identify visitors.

Cookies, advertising and analytics

The site sets no cookies and loads no advertising or analytics scripts.

If we add advertising or analytics in future, this page will be updated before that happens, and it will name the services used, what they collect, and the choices you have.

Links to other sites

Pages link to official agency pages, to archived copies of those pages at the Internet Archive, to station websites and to a map service. When you follow a link, the other site's privacy policy applies.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices and contact

To ask what we hold about you, or to have an email you sent us deleted, write to contact@texasemissionstesting.com. If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. See also the terms of use.
