The rules for El Paso vehicles
What El Paso drivers call the state inspection is now only this emissions test: the safety inspection for non-commercial vehicles ended on January 1, 20255. The test is an on-board diagnostics (OBD) check for gasoline vehicles from their second anniversary through 24 years old6; electric vehicles, diesels, motorcycles and mopeds are not tested7.
